A Complete Set for a Home Kitchen: This 14-piece set includes an 8" chef knife, 8" bread knife, 8" slicing knife, 5" utility knife, 3.5" paring knife, six 4.5" steak knives, kitchen shears, and a wood block with a built-in sharpener. You get the everyday knives and the steak knives together, instead of shopping for them later.
Made for Everyday Cooking: The blades are high-carbon stainless steel. Use the chef knife for chopping, the bread knife for loaves, the slicing knife for larger cuts, and the steak knives at the table. They are meant to cut cleanly without a lot of sawing.
A Sharpener Built Into the Block: There is a sharpening slot on the side of the wood block, separate from the storage holes. If a knife starts to feel dull, pull it through the slot and put it back. You do not need a separate sharpener on the counter.
Comfortable Non-Slip Grip: The black handles are shaped and ridged for a steadier hold during everyday chopping and slicing.
Sits on the Counter Without Taking Over: The wood block keeps the knives standing up, so you can see each handle and put them away after you cook. It also works as a housewarming or wedding gift, because the knives come with a place to store them.
